The Health and Physical Literacy Summit 2022 is a professional development opportunity focusing on the application of the dimensions of Health and Physical Literacy. Whether you work in K-12 Education, Higher Education, or a Clinical/Community setting the Summit is for you. Sessions will focus on topical areas that support health and physical literacy including health, physical education, research, physical activity, dance, and sport.
No membership fee required!
Registration – As of February 1st make payments ONLINE ONLY through February 9th. Late registration fees: Professionals $150, Retirees $75, Future Professionals $55. Onsite Registration – Pay upon arrival at the Summit if you miss the late registration period. Onsite fees: Professionals $175, Retirees $85, Future Professionals $65. Refund Policy - all requests for a full refund (minus a 10% service fee) must be made no later than January 31st. Requests between January 31st and February 7th will be refunded at 50%. No refunds will be granted after February 7th (exceptions may apply in cases of personal emergency). Professional Development Credit Options - Alabama educators may earn up to 14 hours of PD credit through PowerSchool. Register HERE. Educators from out of state should contact Donna Hester for PD credit assistance. Certified Health Educators needing credits from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. may pay the $30 fee at the Summit.
