Position Title Physical Education Teacher Education Faculty
Position Summary Auburn University at Montgomery announces a tenure-track appointment in Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) at an assistant professor rank beginning spring 2020/fall 2020. This is a full-time, nine month position with potential for summer teaching. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate physical education courses, providing service to the department/college/university, grant writing and securing external funding, and the ability to manage and conduct research.
Required qualifications Candidates must possess a Ph.D./Ed.D. in physical education teacher education or a closely related field and have P-12 teaching experience. Individuals, who are in ABD status, will be considered at the Instructor level and should have a set completion date for their Ph.D./Ed.D.

Position Title:

Auburn University at Montgomery:  Kinesiology Graduate Assistant

Position Summary: 

The assistantship is in kinesiology with emphasis in physical education. Graduate assistants are assigned a mentor and responsibilities may include teaching, working in the human performance laboratory, or assisting with research and faculty projects and other service projects. Graduate assistants are typically assigned a semester workload equivalent to 20 hours per week and receive a stipend. Currently, there is no tuition waiver, but out-of-state students are eligible for in-state tuition.
