2020 ASAHPERD Virtual Fall Conference Overview 

The 2020 Fall Conference will be virtual with a combination of live and pre-recorded events. The General Session, featuring Melanie Lynch, will be live via Zoom Webinar on Sunday, November 15 from 3:30 - 5:15 pm. Melanie is a health and physical educator with many awards that acknowledge her successful teaching career. 

Breakout sessions will premiere on YouTube at a scheduled time on Sunday, November 15 from 1:00 - 5:15; Monday, November 16 from 4:00 - 7:30; and Tuesday, November 17 from 4:00 - 7:30. 

Click HERE for the detailed schedule. During each breakout, a chat feature will be used to allow the audience to ask questions and share ideas. The presenter may choose to be on the chat or not. This format makes it easy to provide a quality professional development experience without the worry of technology issues that can often arise during live sessions. After the premiere, the session will be available for access from November 18 through December 5.  

Town Hall Meetings will be held using Zoom Meetings. This format will allow us to see/hear participants and utilize breakout rooms to discuss hot topics relevant for how you are teaching in November. See the schedule for days and times.

Registration is available online or by US Mail

Fees are based on membership category. Early registration is from September 1 through November 1; Late registration is ONLINE only from November 2 through November 13.

Professional $50 early / $70 late

Student $25 early / $45 late

Paraprofessional $40 early / $60 late

Retired $40 / $60 late

Prospect (non-member) $100 early / $120 late

Professional Development Credit will be awarded following the conference. Details will be emailed to registrants by November 1st.

Purchase Order Policy - November 1st Deadline: 

  • If you are submitting a PO to ASAHPERD requesting an invoice for payment, EMAIL the PO and your registration form to [email protected] no later than November 1st.
  • Checks must be received in the ASAHPERD office by November 9th.

Membership:  A member benefit is reduced conference fees. It is best to pay membership online.  However, you can mail the membership form and payment (click here) to PO Box 369, Arley, AL 35541. If you are mailing your registration fee, you may include membership payment with your registration payment – be sure to include BOTH forms.

Refunds:  If you register and are then unable to attend the conference, contact [email protected] for refund details. All requests must be made by November 13. Refund requests are subject to a 25% service charge.
